Step 1: Compose Your Post

  • Title: Enter a clear title for the post

  • Levels of Care: Select the relevant levels of care (this determines which families will see the post, based on their loved one's level of care)

    • Use formatting options (bold, font sizes, bullet points, emojis)

    • Add external links (e.g., “Click here to learn more”)

Drafts are auto-saved after Step 1, even if your session is interrupted.

How to Blur Faces in Uploaded Photos

When uploading images to a News Feed post, Welbi helps you manage resident privacy by allowing you to tag and blur faces. Here's how it works:

  1. Tap on a Face
Click on a detected face (highlighted by a circle) to tag it with the resident’s name.

  2. Tag the Resident
Select or enter the resident’s name to associate it with the face in the photo.

  3. Automatic Blurring Based on Consent

    • If the resident has provided photo-sharing consent, their face will be shown.

    • If no consent is on file or the resident has not given their consent, the face will remain blurred automatically.

    • To adjust the location of the blur circle, click and drag the circle to reposition it.
    • To resize the blur circle, click the ‘Size’ button next to the resident’s name below the image.

  4. Manual Control

    • Use "Draw Additional Blur" to manually blur faces if desired.

    • You can also clear a blur if appropriate (e.g., for a private family share).

  5. Save Your Changes
Click “Confirm Pictures & Close” once tagging and blurring are complete.

  • Download Blurred Photos: You can download a version of the photo for private sharing if needed (e.g., via email).
